Bill,

I don't know if I can help or not, but will take a stab at it since I
just went through setting up my new (to me anyway) Newton to use a
wireless connection.

Most businesses have pretty tight security on their LANs. One of these
is probably the problem.

Try turning off WEP in the modem settings. Or if it is off, turn it on.

Check the SSID settings in that same area.
