Interesting. When I first read the question, I assumed that Mimi meant
'Poteen' (pron. pu-cheen) which is illicit Irish booze. It made a lot more
sense in light of the comment afterwards about not spilling beer on your
Newton!

Still, I'd never heard of Poutine, so the thread hasn't been a complete
waste of time :-)
