Code may not be the best description of where these commands gets
placed. If you're using Speaktext via the routing menu, just add the
"volm" command at the start of the note, Newtworks paper, or whatever
text Macintalk is going to be speaking. It's an embedded command
[whatever's inside the brackets], and is part of the text to be spoken.

There are quite a few of them to change pitch, the voice speaking,
pronunciation, the rate of speech, etc.
