My e-mail host, Luxsci, uses the antispam technique called Spam
Bouncer. It's basically a very sophisticated procmail recipe which you
can run on your own if you have a Unix-based mail server, but the folks
at Luxsci have licensed the technology and implimented it on their mail
server. It is very, very effective. I get virtually zero spams in my
"In" box and anything flagged as spam gets filtered to a box that I can
review at my leisure. Some false positives, but I can easily add the
senders to the "white" list at Luxsci using a Web interface.

I am extremely happy with Luxsci as a mail host and with Spambouncer as
an antispam tool.
