I have a very interesting comment. I have an emate with an original battery
pack. My emate would not hold a charge for more than a day or 2. I had to
constantly charge it or work with the power adapter plugged in.

Well, I managed to get my hands on a memory upgrade card and popped it in.
Now (for some crazy reason?) my emate holds a charge. It has been going on 3
weeks and the power states as I type this email message, '91%'!

Go figure?
