I use SoftCharge from www.logictools.de. Allows you to set preferences
for Alkalines, NiMH, NiCd or LiOn. It integrates into the preferences
settings and seems to work quite well.

There's also Options, can't remember where I found that one, which
allows you to change the low battery warning percentage.
