Epson's are the best supported prints by this software combo IMO.

Strangely, Apple's OSX has great support for CUPS built in, and you can
easily add Ghostscript and Gimpprint, but the Appletalk in OSX is not
as good(netatalk).

At least I have never figured out how to get an inkjet to appear as an
Appletalk device while using Gimpprint/ghostscript/Cups as my
rasterizer on OSX.

On the other hand it's pretty cool to have your inkjet become a
postscript level 3 device, and this setup is surprisingly speedy too
(faster then Epson's native driver).
