Huh huh --! He said "launch dick."

That said, you should first ensure your USB cable and Keyspan adapter
are connected to your Mac, then launch NCU. Under the Edit menu,
select Preferences. There you should see your Keyspan Adapter listed
where it says "Listen for Newton device on ...", and you have a few
choices (AppleTalk, Internal Modem, Printer Port USB, and P#2USA28x1).

This last is the Keyspan Adapter, and your numbers will more than
likely be different. I have both the AppleTalk option checked, as
well as the P# (blah blah blah) setting.

Next, you'll need to set the location for your backups. I am using a
folder within the NCU folder.

Once these preliminaries are complete, you should be able to connect
with your Newton(s).

Ensure if you also use your Keyspan adapter with a printer that you
set the printer to use its own port on the adapter. Not a rule set in
stone, but it should help if you find yourself having difficulties in
the future.

What he said.

Yup.

Can't help with the wireless (stupid economy).

(*snip*)

Good luck ....!
