How old is the battery? There's a chance it may just be at the end of
its' useful life. (I had to replace mine after about three years.)
If you're willing send it me (and cover the return postage), I'd be
willing to try it in my VST Charger, which has been known to bring
sluggish iBook batteries back to life. I can't guarantee that it will
work, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
