Ok.. ahwile back I mentioned about wanting to buy a NEC Ultralite like Victor to do router configurations.. cuz I really hate carrying around a 7lb laptop.. and someone chimed in (in fact i think it was several people!) that they could do this on a newton. I downloaded PT100, also got TermLimit, but it didnt work.
I used the PC-> Newton cable with a gender adaptor male/male and the cisco db9 to rollover cable. PT100 and TermLimit both says its connected at 0bps but nothing appears on the screen. I also tried using a 25pin serial cable to mac din cable.. same results.. so is it the cable i'm using.. my boss mentioned something about a null modem cable with a db9 on one end and a mac din on the other...
Any help is certainly appreciated!
