[NTLK] Notepad sound files revisited

Hello Everybody:
I've posted several inquiries regarding getting Notepad files from one Newton
to another.
To date, nobody seems to have come up with a good method for doing this.
The only solutions I've found are to either beaming directly from
Newt-to-Newt or to send e-mail directly from Newt-to-Newt. However, if one does not use
the Newton for receiving e-mail, they're out of luck. The only remaining
choice seems to be to store the Notepad recordings on a flash memory card and then
mail that to the person. Any creative approaches to solving this conundrum
would be appreciated.

Why do I want to be able to transfer Notepad sound recordings from one Newton
to another? A good friend of mine lives on the other side of the planet.
We'd like to send the occasional sound byte back and forth, and we want to do it
with the Newton. Yes, we could use .MP3 files, etc, but we're trying to keep
this in the Newton family. We're surprised that others are not clamoring for
a means of exchanging Newton sound bytes (sixty second recordings). Haven't
you always wondered what Victor sounded like? ;O)

Regards,

Matt K.
