but it's also all about the consumer. If all you need is a web-browsing,
MP3-playing, electronic typewriter with e-mail, any recent iBook will be
overpriced. What if your colleague doesn't need all those MHz, GBs and
whatevers?

Where's the lo-cost products that's cool, get you an nice attention and
lure new customers willing to upgrade into serious gear in three to four
years? Apple never really understood that - the original iMac went into
this direction, but the new one doesn't. Cool product, excellent design,
too pricey for starters.
