Sounds a bit strange to me since he could definitely have made some
money, look at all the questions about Availworks over the years...

Oh I quite agree, but I guess they thought it was not worth the marketing,
and it was not completed, just about. I guess other projects to precedence.
As for Availworks, it is a nice app, however it does not have the built-in
file transfer that Newtworks does. And I would bet that if Networks came
out first, there would not have been a Availworks. If they can't make a
sizable profit they won't bother with it, that is the way of things for most
developers. Which I can't blame them, after all they have to make a living
as well. I just wish they would have relased it rather than dumping the
whole project into oblivion.
