I'm thinking of getting a different cell phone; does anyone have any
suggestions for the best phone model for battery life, cheapest dongle
for serial port capability etc? (serial comm only really, I don't care
to have the phone sending/reading emails). I know some manufacturers
want a LOT of money for their dongles.

I don't want flip phone or color, just a regular phone with maximal
battery life.

I'm setting up PPP on my unix box so will get access to my broadband
that way.
