OK HERE IS A QUESTION after u get the newton to recognize usb. wont you then have to create drivers for each device that you want to work with the newton? i mean even though u get the newton to recognize the usb card it doesnt mean that anything u now plug into it will be seen by the newton. so does this mean that if anyone wants anything usb to work with the newton will they have to send said device to you or sumone else just to have a driver created for their own personal use? so is someone going to figure out a cost per usb device that has to be created? i would think that someone will be spending alot of time and energy to help the rest of us that cant do this. but before everyone starts to run out to buy usb items to play with on their newton sumone should come up with a cost per item or a flat fee for said service so that we are all aware of what said service may cost. im not trying to stop anyone from doing this or from anyone wanting it to work i just happen to
  notice
that only the first half of the problem is being mentioned not what happens after the usb driver is created. mho of course.

A CompactFlash USB card might work, but would certainly require a quite
complex driver.
