SEE I thought the main problem would be that unless his newton came with nie already installed on it he wouldnt be able to connect with his ethernet card. and since he said he had no dongle either i didnt see how he could connect to get said pkgs onto his newton and would be a candidate for the card lending program. i could be wrong.....

I don't use a PC but recall that there were problems with Apple Talk
access from a PC. Is it possible to use one of the cross platform
communication packages?
