Actually it's a mini din 8 on the serial side.

? Generally SCSI cabling is 50pin and LOOKS like a parallel connector,
but is wider. There is also SCSI cabling using DB25 connectors on both
ends (male usually) with all the grounds tied together.

SCSI is a form of parallel now that I think about it...
