Actually there are two major ones that drove me nuts for a while. When
writing HTML in Notes I used Note2Net to view it in NetHopper. For some
unknown reason I had to reload it from a desktop each time I wanted to use
it in order to make it work. I know it would be simple enough to remove it
and NetHopper and use Newtscape instead, however, I haven't because I've now
moved on and use bUSEFELL HTML Editor on the MobilePro.
The second is much more serious. Tibet. Over the past few years I've
bought/tried a numbers of digital cameras with Tibet. I've had problems with
corupt thumbnails with a lot of camers. A couple of years ago, I bought a
couple of Agfa cameras solely to use with Tibet. The first was the 1280 and
it worked fine for a couple of years. However, the resolution was lacking. I
then bought a 1680. Better resolution and it also did not have the corrupt
thumbnail problem. However, it did produce communication errors. They never
went away and also began to occure when I used the 1280. I tried everything
from reloading Tibet to going into the Newton's system soup to clean out
every trace of Tibet. Nothing worked and Tibet was originally programed to
with the the early Agfa cameras. Peter Cameron tried both cameras on his
Newtons and they both worked fine - no commmunication errors. (Peter now
has the 1280) Today, it's not worth my time to try and figure it out. I'm
now using Image Expert CE and much larger megapixel camers. It doesn't do
all I would like, but it is better than Tibet. With Tibet, you can't just
pop a CF card in a slot and read the files, it needs to be physically
connected to the camera via a serial cable and serial-based cameras just
aren't made anymore.

Sounds great to me! Now, if I can just get Wendy to agree to that
instead of a trip to Cape Breton this year... ;)

I don't know but the program does show promise.
