Unfortunately, this only works if you write in cursive. There is a way
you can try to fine tune certain letters yourself. It even seems to
help if you have problems with certain letters in printing recognition.

Make sure that you have recognition set to "cursive" and then choose "
"Letter Shapes" from the popup menu "Options"

Now, find the letters you are having problems with (P was, I think, one
of them) and do two things, find letter shapes that you absolutely do
_not_ use, and change their status "I write this 'p'" to "Never", and
then find the letter shapes you normally write, and make sure they say
"Often". Hint, if you tap on a letter shape, it will trace it for you,
so you can see exactly how the system presumes you are writing a
particular shape.

So, by playing with these settings, I think you should be able to get
it to recognize your problem letters.
