Slightly tenuous link here but Laszlo has gone opensource http://openlaszlo.org/

The reason I mention it is that like Squeak it seems to offer a nice
presentation layer.

As an idea on a Newton-work-alike using a built in web server (content
delivery) and a wiki (providing linking and storage) of some kind tied
to a nice presentation layer (laszlo ?).

Just an idea :-)
