Rich that is at least the second time this year you have waxed
poetically about leaving the list. I have read your posts for 4 years
and while you have certainly done your part to help out new users, and
maintained TON which we all appreciate, you have also participated in
many chest-thumping flamewars (9/11, God, USA, etc) and offended a few
people.
just tone down the sensitivity a tad. i have a rule about not letting
anything/anyone on the 'Net get to me. People type things they would
never say in person, and i think we all recognize this. What i cannot
understand is how you take such offense to what others have to say
(even if it;s asinine). Next time someone posts something that makes
you want to get nasty, wonder aloud why you bother, and threaten to
leave the list--just take a few minutes, put your PC to sleep and go
outside. just chill. please stay on the list; just spare us the drama.
