Hi Johannes, Thanks a lot, but this version too expired in 2003. When I
start NewtSMS 1.1.0c, it displays a splash screen for 3851 seconds... do you
have any other version which does not show the splash screen, or shows it
for a few seconds only?
With this version too, I have to backdate my Newton to 01/05/2003, then
start NewtSMS, and then correct the date to get it to work. I'd like to set
NewtSMS as my backdrop; that way I'll always be able to initiate, as well as
receive incoming calls.

Attached you'll find a fixed version of NewtSMS+.
Timo sent me a buck, where he found, that in some cases NewtSMS+ will
disappear from your screen or even restart your Newton in a loop.
If the second failure will hit you, please do the following:
1. - tap and hold about 1 cm from the left hand side of the screen.
2. - start Newton, after a While, Newton will ask you if the packages stored
internally should be started. Tap no.
3. - go to the extras folder tap and hold NewtSMS+ until it is highlighted.
4. - tap on the actions button and delete NewtSMS+.
5. - Now you can install the Version coming with this mail in your preferred
way.
If you've installed NewtSMS+ on a card:
6. - Remove the card
7. - start Newton.
8. - after Newton is running, proceed with step one but instead of starting
Newton again, insert the card (in step 2).

The by far most popular requested features have been
- Landscape Mode (Will come in one of the next releases)
- SMS read Support for Siemens Phones
(I do not own a Siemens Phone, so I can not make it ;-(
if someone can send me his/her Siemens Phone and Cable, I can take care for
it)
