Hey, being a geek isn't so bad, we use an IBM Model M as well. Had it since
1986! We used to have two but one has finally kicked the bucket. They came
from a couple of PS/2 Model 70s we had.

But the slightly textured keys do collect a lot of grime.

It does provide a lot of tactile feedback for the touch typist. No anxiety
over whether or not sufficient pressure has been applied. (grin)

DOS were the days...

I don't know if you can pry off the key caps on a Mac keyboard and then just
snap them back in, but that's what I do with my IBM Model M: I take the keys
off and clean them individually with an old toothbrush and a bit of
toothpaste.

Yes, I'm a geek.
