Abraham -

Have you tried taking a pencil eraser to the contacts, and thoroughly cleaning them with that? Make sure you get as much of the residue off as you can, then put in brand new batteries and try a reset.

After the Alcaline batteries I put on the newton ran out, I should have removed them inmediately, but I didn't expect to leak in just a couple days! Now it doesn't turn on, with batteries or power.
