Has anyone used a AN APPLE NEWTON 2100/2000 EMATE WIRELESS NETWORK
INTERFACE CARD? my Newton 2000 says it "There is a problem with the
card (Newton cannot recognize this type of card)" I have all new
Apple G4 or G5 computers. I got the keyspan adapter, dongle, cable,
and now I have a new G5 imac and nothing happens when I plug in my
newton to the G5 or into my powerbook G4? Am I missing some software,
drivers, or it just won't work with my new mac stuff?
Can someone HELP ME All I want to do is hook up my Newton. Should I
just sell all this and get a new PDA?
You'll have to talk slow because I don't know anything about this.

Okay, start with what wireless card this is; there's no such thing as an
APPLE NEWTON 2100/2000 EMATE WIRELESS NETWORK INTERFACE CARD.

Brand name,
Lucent Technologies
model name,
WaveLAN
and FCC ID
IMRWLPC24
may all be useful. For example, I use a
Microsoft MN-520 (FCC ID: HEDACC3501D68) card.

Second: where are you with installing things on the Newton? Have you
done any at all
NO:-(
or are you starting with "How do I get stuff put on the
newton in the first place?"
"How do I get stuff put on the newton in the first place?"
Bingo that is me!
I love my Newton but if I can if it is only a notebook that has 4 MB
of flash memory it's not that useful for me. I have keep a journal in
it for almost 8 months would love to get on to my mac, and use the
Newton for more than that.
