I'm not sure if this is unique to 2x00 Newts or if it applies to all of
them (as I have only a 2100 and haven't used any other Newts), but if my
newton is turned off and I plug in the keyboard, it'll turn itself on.
Same goes if I plug the dongle in.
Does your newt's serial port work with other things, like the computer
connection?
