YES! Don't do it! Chargers not designed for Nimh batteries (or any
charger used with a batter it is not designed for) will cause them to
leak at best. But with Nimh, most likely they will explode! Again
don't use ANY rechargeable batteries in a charger not designed for them.
  Some chargers are "smart" and know the difference, but if you are not
sure they are designed for it, don't take the chance. It certainly is
not worth it.
