You are correct, but (and here I might be the one who's wrong) the
Russian-made handwriting recognition was only for the cursive
recognizer (Calligrapher?). The old company name eludes me, but I
know today it is PhatWare. I'm certain the former name was much
less... contemporary sounding? I believe the print recognizer was
still created by Apple.
