Right- I've done what these steps during my efforts and trying to make
this work.

Let me ask you about the text files that you've sent over. How do you
edit them? For instance, I created them using TextEdit and saved them
in the default charset. They all have a .txt. extension, or TextSync
won't allow them to be selected.

Is this how you edit/create yours?

Do you have a sample note that you _know_ you can sync from the Mac to
the Newt that you would copy and paste in an email to me to test?

thanks.
