I suspect that it is a problem with the USB/serial software. For the
Keyspan driver it is recommended that you either install in in OS X
or Classic but not both.
I sounds like you have successfully installed it in OS X. ...... Not
a problem.If Escale works for you good. else use NewTen to install
packages.
get the ethernet packages installed and connect to Classic via
Appletalk, You will need a PCMCIA ethernet card and a Hub or
switcher and NCU will fly. Direct ethernet connects seem to be
problematic. Re pcmcia I have had good luck with the 3Com Megahertx
3CXE589ET though I think any of the 589 series cards will work but
some need a dongle that may not be provided.
If you need a card write me off list I can often find them at a local
used computer store.
