FWIW, Canada Post claims CN$6 for shipping a small package from Toronto
to Chicago, in about five business days. From Toronto to Germany the
same package is CN$7.30 and it looks like that takes about 10 business
days. I can't imagine why anything Newton-related would cost CN$40 and
up to ship unless he's charging for cab fare from his house to the post
office as well.
