Yes, as long as you have the 40hz.org Ir programs... Compared to serial,
it's just as fast, providing you can keep a serial connection alive.

wil that solve the bootstrap problem? i have a mac with a ir port, but
never found it usefull. to slow for transport. i've switched to
ethernet.
