I used to use PC programs like Lotus Agenda, Enfish Professional and Zoot for
personal information management but with the advent of Lotus Magellan like
programs such as X1, Yahoo Desktop Search, Copernic and Google Desktop Search,
which can search emails, MS Office files, pdf files etc all at once, I use these
instead. HTH
