    Hi Thomas

    Yes, it was acetone what I used to remove the rubber coating from my
first MP2000.

    You should apply it (sink them for 5-10 seconds) only to the big
parts, the front and back case, and the screen cover, the rest of the
parts will dissolve with acetone!

    The painting I used was a standard car painting spray. years later
