Hi there

I am seeking to connect my Newt to a phone via bluetooth and use the
phone to access a dialup account.
I've followed this guidance and am part way there.

http://tools.unna.org/wikiwikinewt/index.php/BlueTooth

I've got to the point where, when the Newt states, 'loading ppp driver',
a message comes up on the phone saying, 'Newton requesting access to
phone as a modem, Allow?'. When I press 'Yes' on the phone, nothing
further happens and the Newt just hangs on 'loading ppp driver'.

Could anyone suggest anything to help? Many thanks for any suggestions.

On the bluetooth set up on the Newt, under Modem Port, should I be
choosing, 'Dial-up Newtwork' or 'Serial Port'

The Newt and phone are paired. The set up on the Newt is:

Generic internet set up using Bluetooth
Configuration: Server
User ID and password
Primary DNS
No Domain name
Login Script as follows:
Send AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","internet"
Send (Carriage Return)
Wait for: OK
Send: ATD*99#
Wait for: CONNECT
Done
Timeout 60 seconds.

On the phone side I've got a data account with the following
information:
Username (as per set up on Newt)
Password (as per set up on Newt)
Login request: No
Allow calls: Automatic
IP address (left blank)
DNS address (as per set up on Newt)
Authentication: selected None, PAP, CHAP

Andy
