Well, I will leave it to others to hand out the weekly awards. ;->

Don't be afraid, you did not step back on the OS (this will NEVER
happen when you do a brain wipe). To freeze packages and use
bluetooth you need to install several other packages. I can't really
tell where to get them all from or even all of the names, but
www.unna.org is a good starting point, as well as www.kallisys.com
and 40hz.org

I hope this helps you to restore your green friend to its former glory.
