Well, everyone:
I thought I was out of the woods. I downloaded Newton Press
and it worked flawlessly, but when I tried to transfer packages to
the Newton, the connection froze up. I had this problem before (and
still do) with my desktop Mac, but thought that this was due to it
having system 10.4.9, but now I get the same behavior on my laptop
Mac, which still has system 10.4.8.
Normal behavior: I launch Newten, select the package I want to move.
connect via dock and the package goes. My connector is the serial to
USB Keyspan device. Yesterday, I transfered several files without
incident. Today, the moment I hit "open" in NewTen, the Keyspan light
freezes on and the dock refuses the connection.
Any ideas why I have this problem today and not yesterday? Any
solutions? Thanks. WES
