I brainwiped both of my MP2100s and both recognize my handwriting
equally well (actually: nearly perfectly, even writing in Dutch). I
almost exclusively use ParaGraph, the cursive recognizer which, as Marty
pointed out, has a learning function.

I do however have a rather neat (sorry about blowing my own trumpet
here) handwriting style, probably because I'm interested in calligraphy
and computer handwriting in general, so that could be a factor as well.
