[NTLK] Newton 2?

Okay, I do not want to start nuttin, but...
I just had a discussion with a guy who is an Apple Tech at a authorized repair place near me, and he stated that there is a *rumor* that Apple is supposed to introduce a touch-screen tablet laptop in 2/08..

.. and another rumor is that it is supposed to be called the Newton 2!

I am sorry if this has already been discussed, but what do y'all make of it?? SHOULD I WAIT TO BUY MY iPHONE?!?!
