I enjoy fixing things. Especially cool old things. But, if all else fails,
I will replace it.
My lastest want is a Nikon SP rangefinder camera. My dad had a Contax and I
loved the pictures it took. I had a Nikon F2 and some lenses, took
beautiful pics but it was big and heavy and sounded like a garage door
closing. The rangefinders are almost silent. What is stopping me is the
requirement to process film. Sometimes when I am looking for a perk-me-up
I'll browse the eBay auctions on SPs and drool. Here's one that sold
recently for $2,350.
