Since you're collecting, you could always get yourself a nice eMate
(which you'll want to add to your fleet anyway and costs much less
than the MP2100), which you can connect to one of your older Macs
with a plain old serial cable.
Put the packages you want for the 2100 on the eMate, [install the
unprotect software on it if necessary], and then beam them over to
the 2100.

I just thought of this! Any reason it wouldn't work? Anyone?

(I think beaming is way cool; I have an old HP Laserjet that uses
IRDA. I wish there was a way to beam stuff to my newfangled OSX iBook!)
