Hello All,

I've just been a Newton owner for about 2 weeks, buying a MP110 off
ebay for playing around with. Well, I liked it so much, I bought 2
MP2000's (one upgraded) with all the manuals, a flash card, and a modem
card from the same seller on ebay. I've received a cable from JK Sales
with interconnect on one end and DB9 on the other, so I'm trying to
solve the connection issues. I also bought a fax modem for the MP110
for transfering data by fax. I've barely had time to do anything with
the 2000's (going to give one to my child for Christmas), but I know I
want to download some software. I have an old Dell with a DB9
connector, but I prefer a Powermac G4 with OSX 10.3 as my main
computer. I can get a DB9 to USB converter cable to use the Mac for my
Newton connection. I received all the NCU disks for both Mac and PC
with the MP2000's, but I'm trying to decide whether to go with the NCX
utility for OSX or partition my HD on the G4 and add OS 9. What's the
better OS for working with the Newton, OS 9 or OSX (or another)? thanks

G.R.Aydelotte
