The closest thing I've heard of is just a tablet with pictures to
point to - nothing electronic.
Also, Bliss Symbolics (google) have been used for your purposes, but I
do not know if a keyboard has been modified.
Of course, there is also whatever system Stephen Hawking uses, bun
that may be too labor intensive.
