Although I find the effort commendable, every now and then, this topic
of asking Apple to release all the info they have on the Newton
resurfaces. And it always ends the same way: no info is ever released.
Heck, no acknowledgement of receiving your demand is even returned.

Whether Apple has the info or not (I would believe they still have it,
in some vault because it's still their intellectual property and a few
millions have been spend on it), they will *NEVER* release it. They
have never released anything that was created internally. Parts of the
code for OS X (Darwin) are available but that's because Apple didn't
have any choice since that part of the OS uses open source projects.

I agree with Simon that your best bet is to contact Paul Guyot
personally and ask him for help. I've been a Newton user since 1993
and I've been developing a tiny bit for the Newton and the only guy I
know that can do this is Paul.

All in all, I think it's OK to discuss this topic over and over but,
without wanting to be rude or anything, I think you're wasting your
time if you're aiming a shot in direction of Apple.

Just my $0.02...
-Laurent.
