Doesn't Paragraph's technology live on through Phatware?

I fear this is just wishful thinking, because I'm pretty sure that Microsoft
bought Paragraph's handwriting recognition lock, stock, and barrel, and the
chances of it being turned into a product for an Apple product are negligible.
