[NTLK] Erasing data but not applications

If you have a flash card you can do a partial backup of packages only  
then remove card.
Perform brain wipe. Press reset button while holding the power button  
down until 'erase data' message appears, you will need to select yes  
and confirm then the Newton will be reset to factory settings except  
for an system patches.
Once this finishes and you restart to blank newton insert card and  
restore packages.

This will restore all applications, extensions and Newton books but no  
personal information or settings.

To erase only a folder in "extras", select a package > tap folder icon  
 > select desired folder > tap "edit Folder" > choose "delete".  You  
can only delete folders you created and any packages in the deleted  
folder will be moved to the "Unfiled Folder" in extras.
Folders in Notes can be removed in a similar fashion
