To the argument that the English language ought to remain static, obey the
old damn rules etc. I would reply with an example:

Whan that Aprill, with his shoures soote

And bathed every veyne in swich licour,
Of which vertu engendred is the flour;

Forget possessive apostrophes: we need to teach this Chaucer dude how to
spell!
