Shouldn't be very difficult to fix. The battery contacts can be easily
replaced. Drop me a line if you need them. If you don't want the Newton
anymore, I'll trade you a 120 for it. 110s are comparatively rare, and I
don't want to take apart my clear 110 just to write disassembly and repair
instructions for this model.
