[NTLK] Love Notes: Restarting Newton development?!

I'm not really an active member of the community (after all these 
lurking years, I got my first Newton this week, a MessagePad 130, and 
I'm still looking for a 2100 & perhaps more), but mind if I drop my two 
cents?

I think it's a good idea to restart Newton development, and bring back 
some new life into this community. It would be fun to make our own 
NewtonOS, or maybe more.

But I don't think we need to migrate to other platforms (such as a new 
ARM tablet for example). IMO, it would make it less interesting and 
unique. And we'd lose what links us to the Newton platform.

As for the worldwide event, i'm all for it, if we have cool ideas of 
stuff to do :p
