[NTLK] Transferring notes from MP2x00 to a PC

slowdown.exe is horrible for modern machines. It just keeps the CPU busy so that sending the serial data is slowed down randomly. Todays CPUs have multiple cores and threads and get really angry and hot when treated that way. If possible, set a lower baud rate instead. Not sure if that helps. Maybe buffering serial data through specialized hardware or a software driver would help, but I have nothing to offer... .

Also I remember having to run multiple instances of Slowdown even for that limited success, which made the whole process pretty painful. Any suggestions as to how to get through this? My goal is to extract some old information from the Notes and Names apps. Thanks, Barry
